Though still in the early stages of his career, Kill Miami is doing the most for Manchester right now. With impressive collabs featuring the likes of IAMDBB already under his belt, this heavy UK/US rap crossover comes as no surprise from the producer set for global domination. Featuring Lunar C's air-tight flows amongst that of US rap legends Raekwon and KRS one, 'Dark Horses' stands as a melting pot of influences, tied together with Kill Miami's impossibly impressive productive prowess.

Sutty - Friends

‘Friends’, the latest drop from rising singer/songwriter SUTTY, depicts the relatable woes of a twenty-two-year-old’s ever-transitioning life. Opening with the recognisable coo of her own name, SUTTY’s harmonic vocals lead a poignant piano melody across a scuffle of hi-hats and a nostalgic but head-boppable beat. As her first solo released single, ‘Friends’ cements SUTTY’s position on our list of ones to watch this year.

Lenzman - Pictures of You feat. DRS

Lenzman makes an unmissable return to Goldie’s pioneering Metalheadz label with his latest single ‘Pictures Of You’ featuring Manchester’s own DRS. The single drops in the wake of Lenzman’s announcement of his forthcoming Bobby LP and succeeds in amassing anticipation for the album’s release. Opening with a melancholic piano amongst a tender but relentless roll of drums, this track doesn’t truly begin the bassline’s initial thud launches the listener from the scope of a rainy-day into the warmth of true possibility. DRS’s impeccable flow works to expand this carefully curated tapestry of poignancy.

Mahalia – Do Not Disturb (Sir Spyro Remix)

Last month, Mahalia treated us to the release of her first 2019 single ‘Do Not Disturb’. This week, the legendary DJ/Producer Sir Spyro dropped a grimey snare-infused take on the track which places Mahalia’s vocals in a darker context; one we hope to see the songstress explore further after the sonic success of this dubby rework.
