Hosted by Metropolis Music, NoName, the Chicago-born rapper behind massive tracks such as ‘Diddy Bop’ and ‘Shadow Man’, is paying Manchester’s Academy 2 a visit. If you’re yet to check out this incredible female rapper then get on it while tickets are still available!

Northampton born and bred, slowthai is the rapper speaking out for a generation of kids who’ve been ignored for too long by the powers that be. His music is unmistakably British, treading a line between grime, rap, dubstep and garage – riding rough-edged beats with an adolescent charisma and confidence that recalls buzzy pirate radio sessions and handicam freestyles. All of this is encapsulated by live shows that are drenched in sweat and spit and booming with the sound of slowthai’s hooky flows and street-smart bars being chanted back at him.

Hosted by Big People Music, The Get Together is a series in a journey of events with the intention to cultivate a collaborative infrastructure within Manchester's creative industry; providing inspiration for non - creatives / vice versa to network and gain insights into the cities artistic heritage and culture, allowing representation through guest panel talks, live performance art, creative expression and exhibitions. With discussions held by the likes of Mr. Scruff and Chunky (LEVELZ) and performances from Manchester up-comers Shunya and Tsana, this is set to be an unmissable night for the city’s creatives.

Freak returns to Manchester for another of their infamous Queer Raves! Feating the finest house and techno curated by Volvox and High Hoops, the night will be held at a secret location announced only to ticket holdings.

Lovely Dubbly returns to deliver a night of reggae, dub, dubstep, jungle and drum & bass! Brought to you from the likes of the legendary DJ Sappo, Dub Smugglers, Sl8r, Melissa and more! All this over a VOID soundsystem – what’s not to love?
